On September 11, the 76th anniversary of the country’s founding, President Zardari delivered a message to the populace. “I am confident that by acting upon his [Quaid-i-Azam] teachings and advice, we can make Pakistan strong and prosperous,” the president stated.
As he paid respect to Mr. Jinnah, the president stated that the country owed the founder for his efforts and role in helping the Muslims of the subcontinent establish a distinct country where they could live in dignity and express their rights to politics, culture, and religion.
President Zardari praised Quaid-i-Azam for uniting Indian Muslims under a single banner and stated that his unwavering struggle and unwavering devotion to the right to self-determination were reasons for national pride.
