On Thursday’s schedule were a number of resolutions proposed by opposition members, but they couldn’t be delivered since the MPAs who proposed them had left the meeting in protest.
Soon after the meeting began, JUI-F MPAs, notably Zabid Ali Reki and opposition leader Mir Younis Aziz Zehri, rose to express their disapproval of the assassinations of their party’s provincial leaders.
Zehri, the head of the opposition, asked Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, the speaker, for permission to make a point of order speech in which he emphasized how urgent their concerns were regarding the killing.
