East Midlands Ambulance Service called officers to Costock Avenue in the Sherwood region at approximately 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, according to the Nottinghamshire force.
The youngster was brought to the city’s Queen’s Medical Centre, but there was no hope for him.
Authorities are still at the residence looking into what caused the fall.
The boy’s death was described as “a tragic and devastating loss of life” by Chief Inspector Jon Scurr.
“Our thoughts are with the boy’s family and loved ones,” he stated.
“We appreciate individuals who have already disclosed information to us, and we kindly ask others who haven’t done so to get in touch.
“If you need help or you think someone else does, please get support via the NHS website or give 111 a call,” Chief Inspector Scurr continued.
