On Wednesday, Pakistan and Bangladesh reached a consensus regarding the necessity of close collaboration at the bilateral, regional, and global levels in order to advance and develop their respective peoples.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized Pakistan’s close ties to Bangladesh, founded on shared history, culture, and religion, in a meeting with Professor Muhammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh, on the fringes of the 79th UN General Assembly.
In order to further improve the bilateral ties, he further emphasized that cooperation was required from both parties.
Taking advantage of the great friendliness and goodwill that exist between the citizens of the two nations, he promoted the development of ties through legislative visits, individual meetings, and exchanges between athletes, scholars, artists, students, and others.
