PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Ali Amin Gandapur, commented on the recent fighting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members and the police in Rawalpindi, saying that his party would retaliate against any gunshot, tear gas shell, and baton strike on its members.
The fiery PTI leader said in a statement on Sunday that three of their employees had been shot, and that one of them was missing.
“Shells and bullets were fired every three kilometers on us, injuring over fifty PTI workers,” he stated.
After leaving for Peshawar, KP Chief Minister Gandapur made this statement after the PTI demonstration in Rawalpindi was “called off” due to violent altercations between demonstrators and riot police close to Liaquat Bagh.
