RAWALPINDI: In the Toshakhana 2 case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, shocking disclosures about the undervaluation of a jewelry set have emerged in confessional statements of key witnesses that Geo News was able to collect.
The confessions come from Sohaib Abbasi, the private appraiser of the Bulgari jewelry set, and Inamullah Shah, Khan’s former personal secretary.
When Khan was the prime minister, the Saudi royal family sent him and his wife the jewelry set.
Shah said in a statement he gave to the court on Thursday that he was paid “double salaries” from his 2019 government post and the PTI.
