A lethal shot by a Jordanian truck driver at the Allenby Crossing and a strong roadside bomb in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah killed six Israeli soldiers on Thursday.
In Rafah, four IDF troops were slain.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that an explosive device struck a Humvee in the Jenina neighborhood of Rafah on Thursday morning, killing four troops and wounding three more. Around 9:30 am, a D9 armored bulldozer was preparing a path with two Humvees in tow when the explosion happened.
The soldiers who were killed were recognized as:
Maj. Omri Chai Ben Moshe, 26, is a company commander from Tzafria.
Ramat Yohanan’s 23-year-old Lt. Eran Shelem.
