In an effort to improve the government’s much-discussed constitutional amendment, which caused controversy even before it was introduced in parliament, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari shared his party’s draft with the public on Saturday and asked for their “legitimate meaningful” input.
Sharing copies of his party’s proposed modifications to the constitution, the PPP chairman stated on his X handle, “I welcome legitimate meaningful feedback back from the public on how to further improve our proposed amendment.”
The initial suggestion from PPP, according to the former foreign minister, is in line with the unfinished goals of the Charter of Democracy.
“PPP’s initial proposal to finish the unfinished judicial reforms agenda of the Charter of Democracy.”
