CEO Mark Zuckerberg said on Wednesday that Instagram, one of the most widely used social media programs globally, has reached 3 billion monthly active users.
Instagram’s user numbers were last revealed by Meta in 2022, when Zuckerberg claimed that the app had over 2 billion monthly active users.
Instagram started out as a photo-sharing service with little revenue, thus Meta, formerly known as Facebook, raised concerns about the company’s plan when it paid $1 billion to acquire the social networking platform in 2012.
