The monarch, who is fighting an unidentified type of cancer, now eats half an avocado with “some reluctance” to maintain his vitality, according to a Sunday Mail article. The site claims that the 75-year-old rarely pauses for a midday lunch unless it is necessary for a royal engagement or other formal occasion.
According to the publication, the monarch broke his lunchtime routine after receiving directives from his wife, Queen Camilla, as well as from his doctors and court aides.
Additionally, they disclosed that Charles would rather eat avocados by themselves rather than crushed on toast.
Adding avocado to the monarch’s daily diet is a great idea for the king’s doctors, who, like Charles himself, are strong proponents of holistic treatment,” Christopher Andersen, author of “The King,” told News.
Andersen revealed, “Charles has never had lunch. He once said, “I skip it because I want to go to sleep right away afterward.” However, he more than makes up for it with lavish meals, teatimes, and breakfasts.
The site claims that Charles was known to choose “a brisk walk” over meals. Two days a week, he avoids eating meat and fish, he previously told the news. On one of those days, he also avoids dairy.
