Tiffany Cross, a former MSNBC host, claimed on Thursday that she was the target of “continuous criticism” from network executives who doubted her intelligence and wanted her to be a part of the “echo chamber” that opposes Trump.

In November 2022, MSNBC abruptly cut off communication with Cross, deciding not to extend her contract after just two years. Fox News Digital was informed at the time by an MSNBC source that the decision was made due to “bad judgment” and “repeated bad behavior on and off-air.”

Former CNN contributor Angela Rye and former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum co-host “Native Land Pod,” where Cross, who previously hosted the weekend program “The Cross Connection,” shared her perspective on the latest installment.

MSNBC’s far-left host Tiffany was criticized for her “bad judgment” both on and off the air.
As Joy Reid’s weekend MSNBC show became more popular, Cross became a frequent guest host, which was “really part of the audition process” to get a paid job at the network. She was also asked to promote a book on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” but she claimed that she couldn’t agree with host Joe Scarborough live and went on to call him the show’s “favorite White boy” in the podcast.

“We were trending when I left the show. We were trending each and every time I hosted “Morning Joe,” according to Cross. “Tiffany Cross was trending on ‘Morning Joe.’”

Cross claimed that in 2020, Cesar Conde, the chairman of NBCUniversal News Group, chose her to host a weekend program. She acknowledged to the listeners of “Native Land Pod” that she was “obviously showing up for Black folks,” but she also wanted to present a show that people of all backgrounds could enjoy.

“I want you all to know, every single week from the start of my show to the very last show I did, it was a battle,” Cross stated. Covering the topics I wanted to talk about was difficult. Trump, Trump, Trump was the network’s credo. They desired for me to be included in the echo chamber.

Cross insisted that she routinely “fought” network executives.
