According to the show’s creator, Steven Knight, a two-season order has been placed for the Peaky Blinders sequel.
“I’m thrilled to be announcing this new chapter in the Peaky Blinders story,” the creator continues in a statement.
According to him, “Once again it will be rooted in Birmingham and will tell the story of a city rising from the ashes of the Birmingham blitz.”
The director observes, “The new generation of Shelbys has taken the wheel and it will be a hell of a ride.”
It was anticipated that the show, which was owned by both the BBC & Netflix, will feature new Shelby characters.
