ISLAMABAD On Monday, a federal capital anti-terrorism court (ATC) issued arrest warrants for a number of PTI leaders in connection with the party’s September 2024 demonstration in the Sangjani area.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the case today and issued arrest warrants for Sheikh Waqas Akram, the party’s information secretary, PTI leader Zartaj Gul, and former National Assembly opposition leader Omar Ayub.
Additionally, Judge Sipara ordered the police to detain and bring the PTI leaders to court by October 20.
