Tuesday marked the beginning of the parliamentary committee hearing aimed at selecting Pakistan’s next chief justice.
Details indicate that Khawaja Asif, Azam Nazeer Tarar, and Ahsan Iqbal were among the important individuals that arrived at the committee room. Despite the boycott, the leaders of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) had also managed to obtain their seats.
It had written the names of Hamid Raza, Barrister Ali Zafar, and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan.
Rana Ansar, the leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), had also arrived at the parliamentary committee chamber.
The three senior judges and the law secretary had arrived at the committee room.
