Pakistan’s players have made notable moves in the latest ICC T20I rankings following their impressive performances in the tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
Spin sensation Abrar Ahmed, young opener Saim Ayub, and T20I captain Salman Ali Agha all climbed the rankings.
In the T20I batting rankings,
- Saim Ayub has moved up two places to 35th with 554 points.
- Salman Ali Agha surged 11 spots, reaching 52nd with 507 points.
However, several Pakistani batters slipped down the charts:
- Opener Farhan dropped two spots to 6th (752 points).
- Babar Azam fell one place to 30th.
- Mohammad Rizwan slid eight positions to 54th.
- Fakhar Zaman dipped to 63rd after losing six spots.
- Hassan Nawaz dropped to 81st, down five places.
- Another wicketkeeper-batter fell to 93rd, also dropping five spots.
Globally, India’s Abhishek Sharma remains the No. 1 T20I batter, followed by Phil Salt (England) and Pathum Nissanka (Sri Lanka).
In the T20I bowling rankings,
- Abrar Ahmed reached a career-best 4th, climbing four spots—just behind Rashid Khan.
- Mohammad Nawaz moved up to 11th with 647 points.
- Shaheen Afridi stayed firm at 18th.
- Salman Mirza rose to 34th, gaining four spots.
- Saim Ayub also improved in bowling, jumping 12 places to 39th.
Meanwhile, Haris Rauf and Faheem Ashraf dropped to 52nd and 58th, respectively.
In the T20I all-rounders’ rankings,
- Saim Ayub reclaimed the No. 1 spot, overtaking Sikandar Raza.
- Mohammad Nawaz climbed to 4th with 218 points.
- Faheem Ashraf slipped to 37th, and Shadab Khan dropped to 44th.
- Salman Ali Agha moved up eight places to 61st.
