Sarah Ferguson, the ex-wife of Prince Andrew, made her first remarks following her skin cancer diagnosis.
Sarah Ferguson’s statements as a spokesperson were published by royal expert Rebecca English on X, the defunct Twitter handle.
Sarah’s representative states: “The Duchess wishes to express her gratitude to the entire medical team that has provided support, especially her dermatologist, whose diligent work ensured the illness was identified early on.”
“She [Sarah] believes her experience underlines the importance of checking the size, shape, color, and texture as well as the emergence of new moles that can be a sign of melanoma,” the spokeswoman continued.
