ISLAMABAD: According to The News, Justice Ayesha A. Malik has been dismissed from the seven-member constitutional bench that was tasked with hearing the federal government’s Intra Court Appeal (ICA) contesting the Supreme Court’s decision that declared the trial of civilians in military courts to be unconstitutional.
The minutes of the third meeting of the three-member committee, which was established under Article 191A(4) of the Constitution and was presided over by Justice Aminuddin Khan on November 13 and attended by the registrar, Justices Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Muhammad Ali Mazhar, were made public on Wednesday.
In order to improve the efficiency and transparency of case management, particularly for the Constitutional Bench, the group deliberated on several significant issues, according to a news release from the Supreme Court’s Public Relations Department.
