“Ken endured a terrible ordeal caused by ALS for five and a half years. A statement that was posted on all of his social media channels said, “And in typical Ken fashion, he managed to rise above each one with grace and commitment to living a full and joyous life in every moment.”
“He lived by the ideas that life is a gift every day and that we are never truly alone. His life serves as a brilliant example of how rich life can be when it is filled with love, kindness, humor, community, and inclusion. Ken was a creative inspiration to everyone.
On November 25, 1974, Kenneth was born in Toronto, Canada, to Diane and David Mitchell. “A giver, a listener, a sentimentalist, and an excellent observer of his surroundings” were some of his well-known qualities. Ken was a charming buddy who took great pleasure in seeing others succeed. He loved starting a good narrative and was a master at bringing friends together, according to the statement.
And he loved to laugh, oh my goodness. He was a laughing man extraordinaire. Ken had an intense love for beautiful art and an attention to detail. His prolific creative output was evident in his architectural design, graphic design, acting, photography, writing, and extensive appreciation of music, as well as in every aspect of his Studio City, California, residence.
