Austin Butler has addressed the swirling dating rumors with Emily Ratajkowski after the two were spotted together in New York last September. In a candid interview with Vanity Fair on November 18, the 34-year-old actor clarified that they are just friends.
“The truth is, I have a lot of friends, and we had dinner. We’re friends, that’s it,” Butler said, putting speculation to rest. He added that he tried to stay under the radar during their outing, which fueled the rumors further.
The Elvis star and Ratajkowski were seen enjoying a casual dinner and drinks at The Waverly Inn in the West Village. They were also photographed together at the afterparty for Butler’s new film, Caught Stealing, in New York City.
Butler emphasized that while he prefers to keep his personal life private, it doesn’t stop him from living life to the fullest.
