Hundreds Swim Into Ceuta
The leader of the region, many people had migrants from Morocco arrive in Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta in the past week.
Juan Jesús Vivas called on the Spanish government to step in, claiming that the surge is overloading resources.

On Thursday, footage showed the migrants running over a border fence. They are late as others swam to Ceuta using inflatable rings and other flotation gear used to travel in the sea.

On the other hand, Spain’s national television, RTVE, reported that “hundreds” infiltrated the area during the day. They said that some 1,500 Moroccan migrants were traveling, the most of whom were young, and had reached Ceuta in the last two weeks.
