On Tuesday, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong met with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and President Nawaz Sharif of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to explore ways to improve collaboration between China and Pakistan, especially in the fields of technology, commerce, and investment.
Nawaz Sharif highlighted the close ties between Pakistan and China during the meeting, calling China a dependable friend and expressing delight in their profound affinity.
Nawaz Sharif remarked, “We are proud of our relationship with this great nation,” and added that Punjab is prepared to welcome Chinese cooperation, especially in the areas of infrastructure and technology development.
Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, articulated her vision for China-India economic cooperation by saying, “We can create economic miracles together.”
