Chris Perfetti spoke openly about his relationship with Abbott Elementary co-stars, revealing that he is’very devoted’ to them.
Speaking on People in 10, the Before I Go star discussed his unique bond with his co-stars.
He stated, “Right now, I feel really attached to my Abbott family. It’s been a true blessing to be able to play a character for as long as I’ve been Jacob, and these folks have become like family to me.”
“There was a connection from the get-go,” he claimed.
The cast of the mockumentary Abbott Elementary has discussed their friendship on filming.
Janelle James, who plays the crazy Principal in the show, told EW in 2022 that the group bonded immediately from the start.
“I mean, with an ensemble cast, as in any work situation, you aspire to get along with your coworkers, which we all do. “It’s so enjoyable.”
Sheryl Lee Ralph also acknowledged in February that she missed her Abbott family and was looking forward to meeting them for season 3 production, saying, “I missed all of us being together. It was simply a mood of desire.”
“And then when I got back on the set, I was just so happy,” Ralph said.
Abbott Elementary is a pseudo documentary-style TV series with a varied cast that includes Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Chris Perfetti, Lisa Ann Walter, and William Stanford Davis.
