Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of the recent violence against a polio team in Union Council (UC) 69 of Dataganj Bakhsh Town. She has responded by requesting a thorough investigation into the occurrence.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz stated, “Polio workers are fulfilling a national duty by protecting children from lifelong disability.”
In order to protect employees and the community during the current anti-polio campaign, she underlined the necessity of having unbreakable security procedures.
Over 12,000 people have been stationed throughout the province, according to the police, to guarantee the security of polio workers. Bilal Siddique Kamiana, the Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) of Lahore, guaranteed that a security alert will be in place till the campaign’s successful conclusion on September 15.
