Sean “Diddy” Combs has apologized for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura in a hotel corridor in 2016, as captured on CCTV footage.
In a video posted to his Instagram page, the rapper said he accepted full responsibility for his “inexcusable” acts on the tape, which aired on the news earlier this week.
“I felt disgusted when I did it. “I’m disgusted,” he said in his statement.
“I went and sought expert treatment. I got into going to therapy and rehab. I had to beseech God for mercy and grace. I’m very sorry.”
He also stated that he was “committed to being a better man each and every day”.
