The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) police and other law enforcement agencies have made significant contributions to the fight against terrorism, and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has praised their efforts and promised that the military will continue to support law enforcement in the newly amalgamated districts of the province.
According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday, the army commander made his remarks while touring soldiers in the Orakzai area who had taken part in the most recent counterterrorism operations in the Tirah Valley and its environs.
The COAS was quoted by the military’s media wing as saying, “Pakistan Army will continue to provide all-out support to KP police and other LEAs in enabling them to perform their duties in newly merged districts.”
Additionally, he emphasized the necessity of ongoing capacity growth.
