In its most recent Hydrological Outlook, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) alerted Pakistan’s several areas to the possibility of flooding and low water flow.
The research states that limited water flow is anticipated at Mangla Dam, a vital national reservoir. The probability of low to medium water flow levels in the Chenab River at important areas like Marala, Khanki, and Qadirabad has also been brought to light by the NDMA.
A moderate flood might also potentially pass through the Kabul River and its tributaries, as well as the canals of the Pir Panjal range.
Floodwater may cross the Kalabagh and Chashma regions and reach the Taunsa and Guddu barrages, the NDMA has warned. The Dera Ghazi Khan Division is at moderate danger of flooding as a result of this situation.
