From June 24 to July 5, the Pakistan Army hosted a Grand Summer Camp in Gwadar for schoolchildren. The purpose of the camp was to encourage cooperation between students from various schools.
51 pupils in all took part in the program. Of these, 21 pupils studied computers, 14 studied cultural arts, and 16 concentrated on painting techniques.
The Gwadar locals were pleased with the summer camp and praised the initiative.
Together with its primary duty of guaranteeing national defense and security, the Pakistan Army also engages in and serves local communities in a larger capacity through this event.
