In addition to infuriating Pakistani supporters and former cricket players, Pakistan’s humbling rout in the Test match against Bangladesh has sparked strong emotions overseas, with prominent pundit and analyst Harsha Bhogle calling the 2-0 loss “embarrassing”.
“Well, given that Bangladesh played, this is embarrassing for Pakistan,” Bhogle stated in reference to Pakistan’s loss to The Tigers in a comment posted on X.
His comments follow Bangladesh’s clean sweep of the two-match series, which they won for the first time over Pakistan in the longest format of e-game on Tuesday with a six-wicket victory in the second Test match.
During their visit, the guests defeated the Green Shirts by 10 wickets in the opening Test to win their first-ever red-ball match.
