ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted former National Assembly legislator Ali Wazir bail in a terrorism case and mandated that he provide a Rs. 25,000 surety bond.
The head of the Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) appeared in court today before Justices Babar Sattar and Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan, with attorney Attaullah Kundi representing him.
Wazir was charged with terrorism and is presently detained at the Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi.
After his bail appeal was denied by the anti-terrorism court, the lawmaker with a fiery temper addressed the high court.
