An explosion on Saturday in the Kalat district of Balochistan resulted in the deaths of at least three security officers and the injuries of four more, according to news.
A top local government official stated that the incident happened on Skalko Road close to Qalat city.
An explosive device has been put at Dasht Mahmood on Skalko Road by unidentified individuals. The police official stated that the explosives went off while a car with security personnel was driving by.
The officer went on to say that four people were injured and three people inside the car died as a result of the explosion. The injured have been sent to a hospital so they can receive care.
The explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device, an official has verified. No organization has made a claim as of yet.
