Kirk Cousins, the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, suffered an Achilles tear in the eighth week of the season, just as the team was starting to click.
To the very end, Nick Mullens and Joshua Dobbs tried their best to keep the Vikings in the running for the postseason.
But they were ultimately doomed by hard losses in the closing stages.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Cousins—who concluded the season with 2,331 passing yards and 18 touchdown passes—admitted that it wasn’t simple to watch the playoffs last weekend.
“I must be sincere. It was difficult to watch playoff games last weekend, according to Cousins, who recently collaborated with Tostitos to provide a fan in Las Vegas with a unique experience during Super Bowl week.
“It seems like we missed the mark and that I’m in the wrong place.
That’s not a nice feeling, then. However, I remind myself that I have more football to look forward to in January. I want to confirm that I’m still playing and winning important playoff games, not that I’m at home. So, the prospect of the opportunities ahead is what motivates me.”

Also, cousins provided an update on the progress of his rehabilitation.
“The process has been really beneficial. After my surgery, I was anxious about how tedious and taxing the rehabilitation process would be. The terrifying tales are told to you. But my experience hasn’t been like that,” he remarked.
Working with the therapists was a lot of fun, and I loved seeing the cast and boot come off and the daily progress. Right now, within a shoe. Simply taking things one step at a time, pushing without going too far, and making sure I’m prepared for practice the following spring. Attacking this challenge has been enjoyable.”
