Narendra Sharif wants unconditional dialogue with all parties, including the PTI, according to adviser to the prime minister on political and public affairs Rana Sanaullah. This was stated a few days after the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) rejected reports that it had received orders from its supremo to start talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and other parties.
Sanaullah stated, “We have also maintained the same stance before the PTI lawmakers in the National Assembly,” on Wednesday in an interview with a local TV station.
Sanaullah’s remarks were made two days after Khawaja Asif, the defence minister, vehemently refuted any specific instructions from Nawaz to the ruling party to begin negotiations with the main opposition party.
