In a recent statement, the Met Department predicted that there will be intense monsoon rains in several regions of Pakistan in the upcoming days.
Tomorrow night, strong monsoon winds are predicted to move into the southern areas, bringing with them substantial rainfall, particularly in Sindh, Balochistan, and Punjab.
In parts of Balochistan and Sindh, including Sibbi, Harnai, Ziarat, Kohlu, Jhal Magsi, Kech, Panjgur, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Thatta, Badin, and Karachi, the advisory anticipates significant rains from tomorrow through August 18.
Up until August 20, there is a chance of heavy rain in the country’s upper regions, which include upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, Hangu) and central Punjab (Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, and Sialkot divisions).
From tomorrow till August, there’s also a potential of significant rain in a few locations in south Punjab.
