Over 47,000,000 beneficiaries nationwide have received over Rs. 50 billion in payments from the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) as part of the Benazir Kafaalat quarterly installments (April–June).
According to an official source, “Until June 26 over Rs50 billion has been disbursed among over 47,00,000 beneficiaries, which make up 70% of the total beneficiaries.”
Over nine million registered beneficiary families are to receive payments of Rs10,500 per household in two phases as part of the ongoing quarterly tranche (April–June) of Benazir Kafaalat cash assistance.
During the initial stage, beneficiaries in every district of Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Islamabad received payouts.
