When all of the tires on a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Dubai to Multan ruptured after takeoff, there was a major problem.
The 172-passenger Airbus A320 was forced to cancel its departure when the crew noticed an engine problem as it was accelerating down the runway.
When the emergency braking system was used by the pilot, the plane came to a safe stop, but all of the tires ruptured.
Passengers were relocated right away to the airport lounge for security concerns.
To solve the technical issue, PIA’s engineering team is being sent from Karachi to Dubai in response.
