A few cities, including Karachi, had mild to moderate rainfall on Monday evening as a result of the deep depression system that is quickly moving from Rajasthan into the province’s lower regions.
“The system is strong and is traveling southwest and west. It is predicted to cause very heavy to extremely heavy fall in southern Sindh and there are currently no signs that it would lessen in severity, according to PMD’s chief meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz.
Sarfaraz stated that during the four-day period (Aug. 27–30), the system is predicted to bring 400–500 mm of rain, with the highest concentrations expected in Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Tharparkar, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Tando Allah Yar.
He stated, “Heavy rains are also anticipated in Karachi, though not to the same extent.”
