David Lammy appeared at the Institute for Public Policy Research in London to discuss his party’s measures to combat “dirty money” in the UK.
But the first ten minutes were all about the Israel-Hamas war, with protesters coming out of the crowd one by one to attack Labour’s position on the fighting.
Mr Lammy stated at least five times that he and his colleagues “had been calling for a ceasefire for months”.
But, just when he thought the protest was over, another activist rose up.
