PISHIN: Today, during a demonstration in Pishin, Baloshitan, the six-party opposition alliance launched their protest against the government. Omar Ayub, the head of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), pledged to use the “Tehreek Tahafuz Ayin” to recover their rights.
The lawmaker told an energised audience, “The people of the country came forward to make this movement successful.”
The alliance consisting of PTI, Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP), Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), and Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) decided to launch a nationwide movement against the government. The meeting was held at the Taj Lala Football Stadium in Pishin.
Senior opposition figures and leaders, such as PkMAP leader Mehmood Khan Achakzai, SIC, and BNP president Sardar Akhtar Mengal chief Hamid Raza, JI’s Dr Ataur Rehman and others — were all present at the gathering.
