ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that while everyone has the right to hold protest demonstrations, supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will “attack Islamabad with weapons.” This is in spite of the fact that the leadership and activists of the Imran Khan-founded party are making their way towards the federal capital despite obstacles.

The security czar told reporters in Islamabad on Friday, “This is not the right way and we will not allow this to happen.”

As foreign dignitaries make trips to the federal capital, large numbers of PTI employees are traveling there.

Naqvi said that he had also asked the PTI “not to hold rally for now” a day prior. The minister went on to say that he would not permit property destruction to occur.
