Sher Afzal Marwat, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has stated that they have no “iota of trust” in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), citing pending petitions against suspected cheating in the February 8 polls and requests for reserved seat allocations.
Marwat, commenting on Geo News’ Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ka Sath show, stated that while the ECP is giving victory announcements for PML-N candidates, the PTI’s petitions are being sent to tribunals.
He stated that PTI founder Imran Khan rejected the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) offer to establish a coalition administration at the Centre.
