Officially kicking off the much-awaited ‘Apni Chat Apna Ghar’ housing initiative, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif aims to give the province’s residents access to inexpensive homes and loans.
During the inaugural event in Lahore, the Chief Minister emphasized the urgent need for homeownership, pointing out that people who have stable housing frequently do not understand the difficulties encountered by those who do not have a place of their own.
Scheme execution
Over 3,000 homes will be built in each district of Punjab as part of the “CM Punjab Apni Chat Apna Ghar” housing plan, with resources allocated fairly.
Five major cities—Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Sargodha, and Rawalpindi—will be the scheme’s initial emphasis. During the first phase, 5,000 dwellings are planned to be built in Lahore alone, close to Raiwind Road.
