There have been strong seismic tremors felt in several parts of Pakistan.
People fled buildings in fear as the earthquakes were especially intense in Islamabad and numerous regions in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Important towns and cities like Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad are said to have felt the earthquakes. Many districts in Punjab, including Gujranwala, Jhang, Chiniot, Pindi Bhattian, and Sangla Hill, were impacted by the earthquake. The quake’s effects were also felt in Mandi Bahauddin, Dijkot, and Pirmahal.
There have been reports of earthquakes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in areas including Kurram, North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, Lakki Marwat, and Malakand.
