On News’s Sunday Morning With Trevor Phillips, Health Secretary Victoria Atkins stated: “We want them (flights) to take off as quickly as possible.” We sincerely hope to have it in a few weeks.
Ms. Atkins responded, “The Home Office is working on this, so believe me, the Home Office is ready to go,” when asked if the government has a carrier yet.
It doesn’t appear like they have one. Phillips enquired.
The decrease in small boat crossings by a third over the past year has been a significant step forward, according to Ms. Atkins, but this is only one aspect of the story.
There are rumors that the administration is having trouble finding an airline to transport migrants to Rwanda since they don’t want to be connected to the contentious plan.
