One of the leading contenders for the Republican nomination, Ron DeSantis, asserts that he will not object to Israel forcibly removing the Palestinians from their country of origin and suggests that they may relocate to other Arab nations.
DeSantis stated during his party’s presidential primary debate: “If [Israel] determines that they must take that action in order to prevent a second Holocaust, then they should do it. I believe that Saudi Arabia and Egypt ought to take in some of these Palestinian Arabs.
During the discussion, DeSantis’ main rival and former US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, also strengthened her backing for Israel.
Israel receives $3.8 billion in military funding from the US each year, and Haley stated that the US should give it “whatever it wants.”
