It is currently believed by US officials that data obtained from the Trump campaign was transmitted in unsolicited emails in late June and early July to individuals associated with the campaign—before Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential contest.
As of right now, there is no proof that the hackers heard back from any of the receivers.

“Iranian malicious actors have continued their efforts since June to send stolen, non-public material associated with former President Trump’s campaign to US media organizations,” the FBI stated in a statement made public on Wednesday.
According to Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, who was contacted by the news, the hack is proof that Iran was “interfering in the election to help Kamala Harris and Joe Biden because they know President Trump will restore his tough sanctions and stand against their reign of terror.”
She suggested that Biden and Harris explain what transpired with the materials that were forwarded to Biden colleagues. “What was known by them, and when was it known?
