Though Hardy lost to Cillian Murphy’s portrayal of Thomas Shelby in season five, he has battled to get his character back.
Netflix said earlier this month that a new Peaky Blinders movie starring Irish actor Murphy, who won an Oscar, is in development.
Speaking to News during his new movie The Bikeriders’ UK gala premiere, Hardy seems excited to be working on the project.
“100% Alfie will definitely make an appearance, but I’m not sure when,” he stated. and that’s just me punting; I’m not even sure if he will.”
Peaky Blinders, a news series about a crime organization in Birmingham founded by Steven Knight, will return after six seasons (2013–2022).
Tom Harper, the director of the first season, will lead it.
Although the plot is said to lead the Shelby family into World War II, no release date has been given.
