Although Travis Kelce was in Las Vegas getting ready for Super Bowl LVIII, he expressed his support for Taylor Swift even though he was unable to be there when she created Grammy history on Sunday night.
With her most recent album, “Midnights,” Swift broke the record for album of the year awards and became the first singer to win the award four times. Swift dominated the Grammy Awards.
By winning the prize three times, Swift also made history as the first and only female solo artist. She in the same category as Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra.
Though Kelce was undoubtedly watching Swift win more trophies—something he too intends to accomplish—he is focused on helping the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl this Sunday.
“She’s amazing,” he said to ESPN. “She is altering the historical accounts. I informed her that I had to fulfill my half of the agreement and bring some hardware home as well.”

In his eventual Hall of Fame career, Kelce will have received two Super Bowl rings, nine Pro Bowl selections, and four first-team All-Pro accolades. But as Kelce looks ahead to Sunday’s game at Allegiant Stadium, none of it matters.
It was anticipated that Swift, who has flown across the nation to see Chiefs games, would attend the Grammys with Kelce this year.
