President Highlights Crime, Fraud in Minnesota
President Donald Trump made a special appearance Tuesday at the White House press briefing to mark the first anniversary of his second term. During the briefing, he focused on crime and financial fraud in Minnesota.
This was Trump’s first White House press briefing since June 27, 2025, and it coincides with exactly one year since his second inauguration.
Trump Showcases Administration Achievements
Holding a packet of documents, Trump said, “We have a book of accomplishments that I’m not going to read, but it’s page after page of individual achievements. We’ve done more than any administration in terms of military, ending wars, and completing conflicts. Nobody’s seen anything like it.”
Turning to Minnesota, he added, “They’re apprehending murderers, drug dealers, and a lot of other dangerous people.” He displayed photos of suspects taken into custody, saying, “These are rough characters. All criminal illegal aliens. Many are murderers or drug lords. And this is just in Minnesota.”
“Minnesota crime is incredible. Financial crimes are incredible,” Trump emphasized.
Support from White House Officials
Before the briefing, White House official Leavitt posted on X, “In just one year, President Trump has accomplished more than many presidents do in eight.” She continued, “We’ve never had a president fight harder to deliver on the promises made to the American people. A very special guest will join me at the podium today.”
White House Releases “365 Wins”
The White House also shared a document highlighting “365 wins” from Trump’s first full year in office. The release stated, “One year ago today, President Donald Trump returned to office with a mandate to restore prosperity, secure the border, rebuild American strength, and put the American people first. In just 365 days, he has delivered transformative results, making this the most accomplished first year of any presidential term in modern history.”
