After taking a brutal hit from Jets linebacker Quincy Williams, Broncos running back Tyler Badie mishandled the ball, which allowed the Jets to score a field goal.
After returning to the sidelines, Badie passed out. Running back Javonte Williams and medical personnel hurried to Badie. He was taken off the field by the trainers after they strapped him to a backboard.
According to NFL Network, Badie’s comeback was uncertain due to a back ailment that was detected.
The Baltimore Ravens selected Badie in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He did not, however, see any field time with the Ravens and made his NFL debut in 2022 with the Broncos.
Just one game prior to the 2024 season did he play in.
It was his third game of the year and his fourth overall when he took the field against the Jets on Sunday. 86 yards were gained by him on 10 carries.
Denver entered the game with a 1-2 record after shocking the Tampa Bay Bucs in Week 3 with a win.
