According to local sources, a Russian missile attack in the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia has killed at least eight people and injured 22 more, including a toddler.
Police said that following Tuesday’s attack on a private clinic and residential buildings in the city center, up to five persons might still be buried in debris.
Two women were rescued from the wreckage during the course of the night. The hospital is currently treating them. There is still a search and rescue going on.
The regional head of Zaporizhzhia, Ivan Fedorov, claims that Russia fired a ballistic missile, probably an Iskander. The defense ministry of Russia has remained silent.
